Objectives of the Course

To enable students to learn about food processing machines and technology used in the dairy industry, as well as to explain the optimization of these machines.

Course Content

Within the scope of this course, information about separators, mixers, homogenizers, heat exchangers, dryers, freezers, membrane filtration systems used in the dairy industry and the working principles and optimization of these machines will be given.

2.Researches the equipment and machines to be selected according to the characteristics of the dairy product to be produced.
3.Compares milk processing machines in terms of function and energy consumption.
4.Discuss the suitability of milk production mechanisms in terms of hygiene.
5.Creates draft production systems, selects process stages and machines.
