Objectives of the Course

The aim is to introduce financial markets and instruments in general and to enable the student to make detailed analysis and valuation in financial markets and to make rational investment decisions.

Course Content

Structure and functioning of financial markets, interest rate mechanism, capital markets in Türkiye, definition and valuation of securities, derivatives, risk and return, fundamental and technical analysis, portfolio management and optimization.
