Up to date 1 undergraduate student succesfully completed thesis by acquiring doctorate (phD), whereas 4 students are continuing thesis study. Academical staff involve 3 professors and 1 associate professor managing doctorate programme. Department of Internal Medicine invokes two groups namely, Large Animal and Small Animal Clinics. At Large Animal Clinic clinical services invoke diagnosis, therapy and prevention of diseases relevant to Ruminants and Equine species based on internal medicine, and based on requirements advisory services are applied to revelant enterprises.

At Small Animal Clinic, in addition to providing routine outpatient services, certain endoscopic applications and cardiological (ECG) evaluation are performed. Radiographic and ultrasonographic evaluations, are the provided the facilities available in the hospital. The Central Laboratory located at the Department provides routine hematologic and serum biochemical analysis, blood gas measurements, some bacterial, viral and parasitic infections, rapid immunochromatographic test for diagnosis of cytological examinations, coagulation profile, urine and stool analyzes. In this respect, the Central Laboratory for the diagnosis, treatment effectiveness analyzes carried out under control and provide research.
