To give informations abaut canine distemper virus, hepatitis contagiosa canis, parvovirus, herpesvirus, adenovirus, canine corona virus, feline panleukopenia, feline infectious peritonitis, FeLV, FIV, Feline flu complex, and this disease's transmission, clinical presentation, laboratory findings, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and protection. to explain the clinical approach to both types of rabies.
This course covers major viral infectious diseases in cats and dogs. Canine distemper, infectious canine hepatitis, canine parvovirus, herpesvirus, adenovirus, and canine coronavirus infections in dogs; feline panleukopenia, feline infectious peritonitis, FeLV, FIV, feline upper respiratory tract disease complex, and rabies in both species will be discussed. Transmission routes, clinical presentation, laboratory findings, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, prevention, and clinical approach will be addressed through theoretical and practical perspectives.
