Objectives of the Course

To explain the pathogenesis, clinical presentation, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment and prophylaxis of Clostridium perfiringens Tip A,B,C and D which is seen commonly and due to the important economic losses in sheep, the other Clostridium species which due to the some toxi-infectious disease (botulismus, tetanus,).

Course Content

This course focuses on clostridial diseases that cause significant economic losses in sheep. Enterotoxemias caused by Clostridium perfringens Types A, B, C, and D, as well as other toxico-infectious diseases such as botulism and tetanus, will be discussed with emphasis on pathogenesis, clinical presentation, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, treatment, and prophylaxis.
