Inflammatory and non-inflammatory degeneration of pericard, myocard and endocard, etiology of acute and chronic heart failure and heart valve failures, pathogenesis, clinical and laboratory findings, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment will be evaluated theoretically and practically.
This course focuses on cardiac diseases in cats and dogs through theoretical and practical approaches. Inflammatory and non-inflammatory degenerative diseases of the pericardium, myocardium, and endocardium, acute and chronic heart failure, and valvular heart diseases will be discussed with emphasis on etiology, pathogenesis, clinical and laboratory findings, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and treatment approaches.
