Objectives of the Course

This course aims to teach health diagnostics of healthy subjects and patients at the life-course stages, physical examination and system examination with a holistic approach and in accordance of nursing process.

Course Content

Asseessing the healthy and sick individual, women and newborn with a holistic and humanistic approach, getting history, physical examination methods and women-specific physical and laboratory examinations and evaluatins.

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to Explain the basic principles of health diagnostics in accordance with the nursing processes.
2.To be able to comprehend the importance of the health diagnostic and nursing diagnosis.
3.To be able to Diagnose the normal functions and properties, findings of physical examinations and abnormal findings of the systems.
4.To be able to assess nursing systems by using the physical diagnostic methods.
5.To be able to Examine and assess the system functions by considering the physical, psychological and social developments of the individual in their life cycle from conception to the elderhood.
6.To be able to diagnose the systems appropriate to individual’s life cycle
7.To be able to transform to the relevant units and to monitor the results after health check-ups
8.To be able to diagnose appropriate nursing by patient diagnostics.
9.To be able to diagnose appropriate nursing in accordance with general health assessment.
