Objectives of the Course

Statement of why countries trade, benefits and composition of the foreign trade, and theories on the generation of relative prices in the foreign trade

Course Content

The history of international trade, classical and neo-classical foreign trade theory, factor endowment theory, gains from foreign trade and income distribution, new foreign trade theories, economic growth and foreign trade analysis.
