Objectives of the Course

The primary aim of this course, which seeks to introduce students to African politics, is to familiarize them with the political dynamics of the African continent.

Course Content

The content of the course consists of Africa’s place in international politics as a region, as well as the challenges faced by African countries.

1.To be able to identify the political systems of African countries.
2.To be able to analyze political changes in Africa.
3.To be able to convey current developments in the African continent systematically in written and oral form.
4.To be able to analyze the relationship between state–society–international community dynamics in African politics.
5.To be able to identify the countries in the African continent and the fundamental socio-economic and political dynamics of these countries.
