Objectives of the Course

The aims of this course is to define urban and rural green areas, classify urban and rural green areas and provide ecosystem services, and evaluate the impact of green areas on real estate within the scope of the economic impact of green areas, which is one of these services, with national and international case studies.

Course Content

Identification of green spaces in urban and rural landscapes. Classification of green spaces. Providing aesthetic, ecological, economic, social, recreational and visual ecosystem services of green spaces. Presentation of the economic functions of green spaces. Presenting the effects of green spaces on real estate. Evaluating the effects of green areas on real estate in urban and rural landscapes through national and international research, and presenting the effects of green spaces on real estate through student studies.
