Objectives of the Course

Determination of nutritional status in pediatric and adult diseases, teaching the methods, requirements, products and practices of enteral and parenteral nutrition in different diseases, transfer of researches that related to subject, commenting the clinical applications related to nutrition treatment of diseases by discussing.

Course Content

Determination of nutritional status in pediatric and adult diseases, learning methods, requirements and the products of enteral and parenteral nutrition in pediatric and adult patients, discussing the different applications and approaches in enteral and parenteral nutrition therapy methods, enteral and parenteral nutrition practices in pediatric and adult diseases will be investigated.

1.Learns about the assessment of nutritional status of patients that applied enteral and parenteral nutrition.
2.Obtains information related to enteral and parenteral nutrition methods, requirements and information about the product to be used.
3.Learns to develop patient-specific nutrition plan according to clinical symptoms of the patients in different age groups to be applied enteral and parenteral nutrition.
4.Gains the ability to make team work with all stakeholders on enteral and parenteral nutrition.
5.Participates clinical research in enteral and parenteral nutrition.
6.Gains the skills to accessing to information related to enteral and parenteral nutrition, analyzing and providing this information.
