The main aim of this lecture is description of superconductivity, superconductor materials, and their general properties and is giving of their applications in technology. Additionally, to obtain a general idea about the studies on ceramic superconductors.
Definition of Superconductivity and a historical overview superconductor materials. Superconductor Theories; London, BCS and Ginzburg- Landau theory. Physical, magnetic, and electromagnetic properties of Superconductors. Electron-Photon interaction. The Effect of magnetic Field on Superconductivity: Meissner Effect. Thermodynamics of Superconductivity. Superconductor Materials and production Techniques.
