The aim of this course is to examine the concepts of identity, diversity, and belonging, which are common widespread use and common effects, in sociological context.
In this course, it is aimed to learn how identities are built or developed; and also the differences of identity, race, ethnicity, gender, religion; the power of identity, modern identity theories, debates about identities and differences in modern and post-modern societies.
