Objectives of the Course

To understand the definition of wetlands, the importance of wetlands.To learn the concept of ecotourism. To understand the place of wetlands in the tourism and fishery sector which is important all over the world in recent times.

Course Content

Wetlands and their physical, chemical, biological properties, importance, use strategies of wetlands, The concepts of inventory, tourism and ecotourism of wetlands in Turkey, the place of wetlands in tourism and fishery. Examples from the world and from Turkey constitute the content of the course.
