• Investigating engineering methods to provide the highest-level safety for vehicles leaving roadway for any reason • Providing information on safe roadside design phases • Teaching how the crash tests used to ensure roadside safety in the world • Providing the implementation details of road restraint systems, such as guardrails, crash cushions and transition guardrails.
This course is intended to explain all necessary engineering measures to increase the safety of vehicle passengers entering the roadside, determine what can be done to reduce the impact severity, present detailed information about engineering precautions, such as guardrails and crash cushions, explaining crash tests and the current crash test standards in the world, investigating the roadside safety issues with examples from Turkey and around the world.
