Objectives of the Course

To teach the fundamental concepts of digital transformation and artificial intelligence applications in the tourism sector; and to equip students with the ability to assess the impact of artificial intelligence on tourism businesses, destination management, the tourist experience, marketing activities, and medical tourism.

Course Content

The concept of digital transformation, technological advancements in tourism, the fundamental characteristics of artificial intelligence, applications of artificial intelligence in the tourism industry, generative AI tools, the use of artificial intelligence in tourism marketing, tourist experience management, applications of artificial intelligence in hospitality businesses, smart tourism, smart destinations, digital transformation in health tourism, ethical and security issues, and the role of artificial intelligence in the future of tourism.
