Objectives of the Course

To learn basic concepts of drama, to participate in drama applications and to prepare drama programs suitable for the development of children with normal development and special needs.

Course Content

The role of the teacher in drama activities, the factors to be considered in drama activities, the drama studies with children with special needs, drama applications in early childhood education, the importance of drama in the early childhood education, preparation and practice of drama activity.

Learning Outcomes
1.Analyzes the fundamental concepts, principles, and theoretical approaches of drama in education within the context of early childhood education.
2.Plans and designs drama-based educational programs by considering the developmental characteristics of young children.
3.Develops and implements drama-based practices that support children's cognitive, social-emotional, language, and creative development through the use of drama methods and techniques.
4.Evaluates the effectiveness of drama activities using appropriate assessment methods and provides recommendations for improving practice.
5.Designs and implements inclusive drama practices that support the participation of children with special needs and critically evaluates their outcomes.
