Objectives of the Course

Ensure that pupils are able to understand parent-child relationships, parents' role in the child's development, take necessary precautions, and be able to provide parental guidance.

Course Content

The family will focus on the importance of children and society, family functions, family theories, bioecological theory, parent-child relationships, child-rearing attitudes, and family dynamics.

1.Analyzes the fundamental concepts, theoretical approaches, and developmental processes related to parent-child relationships.
2.Evaluates the roles of children and parents in parent-child relationships within the context of developmental and environmental factors.
3.Interprets and critically evaluates the effects of special circumstances, such as special needs and divorce, on parent-child relationships.
4.Compares qualitative and quantitative research methods used to examine parent-child relationship dynamics and develops appropriate research designs.
5.Synthesizes scientific literature to develop and implement projects that support parent-child relationships and effectively presents their outcomes.
