To be able to prepare support programs related to sensory development and to be able to give advice to family and related professionals.
The importance of sensory education in terms of development, the purpose of sensory education, the activities and materials for sensory education, the sensory education for children with special needs, the preparation, implementation and evaluation of sensory education program.
| 1. | Analyzes theoretical approaches to sensation and perception and relates them to developmental characteristics in early childhood. |
| 2. | Evaluates the developmental characteristics of auditory, visual, tactile, olfactory, gustatory, proprioceptive, and vestibular systems and interprets their effects on child development. |
| 3. | Critically evaluates individual and environmental factors influencing sensory and perceptual development in early childhood. |
| 4. | Designs home- and institution-based activities and learning environments that support children's sensory and perceptual development. |
| 5. | Develops developmentally focused projects, programs, and practice recommendations using current scientific evidence in the field of sensory development and perception education. |
