It is aimed to understand the effects of cognitive psychology on learning and, in this context, to reflect the existing knowledge to the field of instructional technologies by considering cognition in the structuring of teaching processes.
The course focuses primarily on the basic subjects of cognitive psychology. Then, individual differences in the cognitive context will be examined. In order to understand the cognitive processes in detail, sensation, perception, attention, imagery, language, pattern recognition, memory and memory models will be presented. Studies on these issues in the literature will be examined and discussed, and learners will be provided with additional tasks to reinforce the process.
