The aim is for students to examine the prominent research trends, evidence-based practices, methodological innovations, and application areas in the field of child development over the last 5-10 years, and to develop their critical evaluation skills of current scientific literature.
Evidence-based practices and current research in child development; new research methods, digital technologies and screen use, executive functions and self-regulation, play research, social-emotional learning and mental health, current trends in family studies, discipline methods and boundary setting, children's rights and participation, protective-preventive intervention studies, sustainable development and children, migration, children in disasters and crises, artificial intelligence and child development, family-centered practices, and the examination of multidisciplinary studies.
