Objectives of the Course

The course aims to introduce basic concepts of electricity, passive and active circuit elements and their alternating current behaviour, variable current behaviours of RC and RLC circuits, biomedical applications of these concepsts (impedance plethysmography, galvanic skin resistance etc.), electrode, transducers and bioelectrical amplifiers characteristics and examples of their usage in electrophysiology, biophysical observation and recording devices.

Course Content

electrode, transducers and characteristics of bioelectric amplificators, investigations of biophysical observation and recording apparatus. Basic concepts of electricity, passive and active circuit elements and their alternating current behaviour, variable current behaviours of RC and RLC circuits, biomedical applications of these concepsts (impedance plethysmography, galvanic skin resistance etc.) will be examined. Electrode, transducers and bioelectrical amplifiers characteristics and examples of their usage in electrophysiology, biophysical observation and recording devices.
