Objectives of the Course

Basic concepts of electromagnetic waves are discussed. Properties and interaction of DC and electric fields, very low frequency electromagnetic waves, radio frequency, microwave, infrared, visible, ultraviolet radiation, x-rays, gamma rays with biological tissue are investigated. Also, medical application fields of electromagnetic waves are covered.

Course Content

Basic concepts of electromagnetic waves are discussed. Properties and interaction of DC and electric fields, very low frequency electromagnetic waves, radio frequency, microwave, infrared, visible, ultraviolet radiation, x-rays, gamma rays with biological tissue are investigated. Also, medical application fields of electromagnetic waves are covered.
