Objectives of the Course

This interdisciplinary course provides a hands-on approach to students in the topics of bioinformatics and proteomics at advanced level.

Course Content

This interdisciplinary course provides a hands-on approach to students in the topics of bioinformatics and proteomics at advanced level. Lectures cover sequence analysis, microarray expression analysis, database searches and biotechnology applications from current real-world examples.

1.Students will be able to ask basic biological questions involving bioinformatics, able to perform database searches to reach the answer by applying appropriate computational tools, properly interpret the findings and developed fundamental understanding of genetic mechanisms.
