Objectives of the Course

The course aims to investigate types of radiation and their physical properties, biological effects of radiation and medical usage areas of radiation.

Course Content

The course will investigate the definition of radiation, radiation sources and types of radiation, physical properties of ionizing radiation, x-rays and their properties, radioactivity, radiometry, dosimetry, biological effects of radiation, and medical applications of radiation.
