Objectives of the Course

The course aims to introduce anatomy and physiology of visual system, source of Visual Evoked Potential (VEP), calculation of p100 latency, PVEP stimulations, PVEP records, Neurologic and ophthalmologic importance of VEP, acoustics stimulation, physiology and record principles of hearing, Source of BAEP (brainstem auditory evoked potentials), BAEP waves, importance of BAEP in neurologic and otologic side.

Course Content

Anatomy and physiology of visual system, source of Visual Evoked Potential (VEP), calculation of p100 latency, PVEP stimulations, PVEP records, Neurologic and ophthalmologic importance of VEP, acoustics stimulation, physiology and record principles of hearing, Source of BAEP (brainstem auditory evoked potentials), BAEP waves, importance of BAEP in neurologic and otologic side are studied.
