Objectives of the Course

Aims of this course to gain advanced knowledge and skills related to nursing management of hospitalized critical ill children in intensive care unit.

Course Content

The course includes concepts and principles, the current treatment and approaches in children intensive care nursing.

2.To use technology in the pediatric intensive care unit.
3.To follow the current approaches to care of child in the pediatric intensive care.
4.To perform the nursing care in accordance with the principles of holistic care of the children and families in intensive care .
5.To discuss/ develop sensitivity on the ethical issues in the pediatric intensive care.
