Objectives of the Course

The aims of this course, the explanations about the emergence of ancient portraiture, the evaluation of style features and dating criteria, Roman history, political structure and arts with related portraiture.

Course Content

Portraiture of antiquity, types of portraits by the periods, fashions and movements followed by art of portraiture will be discussed.
