Objectives of the Course

Dating by architectural decoration is often the only possible method to arrive at a fairly precise date for ancient monuments. In Ancinet Times, cities most important elements of the architectural structures items and decorations to be addressed. Identification of decoration types. Ability to compare of other arts decoration and style development.

Course Content

Architectural remains are the most important clues to understand the foundation and raise of ancient cities. To be able to understand the architectural structures of cities, each unit of architecture must be evaluated one by one. For that reason, the stone buildings and architectural ornaments will be explained starting by the end of wooden architecture.
