Objectives of the Course

The information about the situation and political life of Anatolia during the Hellenistic period (also before and after) will be discussed. The influence of war and peace periods to art, economy and trade will be studied. The influences of events in Alexander’s time and afterwards are in course’s extent.

Course Content

Political situation in Anatolia, during, before and after the Hellenistic period will be discussed. The effects of the periods of war and peace to arts, economy and trade will be examined. After Alexander the Great and the effects of the events will be discussed in this course.

1.Researching the publications about the Ancient History in order to folow the historical and political sense of Hellenistic Period.
