Objectives of the Course

The aim of the Production Management course is to convey to students the planning, design, and management of operational processes that optimize the functioning of modern production systems. Within the scope of the course, students learn the principles of workplace layout and product design for an efficient factory environment, while also understanding maintenance planning and organization that prevent system interruptions, as well as work analysis methods that increase labor productivity. In addition, they acquire the basic logic of Just-in-Time and Lean Production philosophy, which eliminate waste, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, which provide integrated management of all business resources, gaining the ability to produce practical and modern solutions to operational problems in industry.
