Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with fundamental skills in computer-aided design software, enable them to create two-dimensional engineering drawings in accordance with technical drawing standards, and develop competencies in technical documentation preparation.

Course Content

The course covers the design software interface, drawing and editing commands, dimensioning standards, creation of machine part views, assembly drawings, and technical documentation techniques. Students learn to use technical drawing software as a production language and gain the competence to prepare accurate digital design outputs for manufacturing and assembly as part of a technical team.
