The aim of this course is to teach students the fundamental principles of technical drawing, national and international drawing standards, projection methods, dimensioning and tolerancing rules, and to provide them with the ability to read, interpret, and prepare technical drawings used in manufacturing and quality control processes.
The course covers the fundamental principles of technical drawing, projection methods, view extraction, sectioning, dimensioning techniques, tolerancing, and surface finish symbols. Furthermore, the inclusion of technical details such as manufacturing symbols (welding, holes, threads) on drawings is emphasized. Students gain the competence to audit the conformity of parts to technical drawings in quality control processes and manage production documentation in accordance with standards as part of a technical team.
