Our vocational school is giving two years of education at associate level
Terms of Exchange and Transition Programs
Ones who complete the first cycle program of Food technology, if they are successful in the Vertival Transfer Examination which is held annually by Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), can do a vertical transfer to the departments of Crop Protection, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Nutrition and Diabetics, Agricultural Biotechnologies of the Universities. Furthermore, they can continue their education after registering Preparation to the Licence Degree Education Program of Business and Economics Programs of Open University.
Qualification Awarded
The graduates who complete the program successfully by fulfilling all of the necessities of the program get "Diploma of First Cycle in Food technician".

Profile of The Programme
The aim of this programme educate a person who have information and skills for production, processing, laboratory, marketing, preserving and management in food sector. Also, students can technical visit some food factories.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Food technology technician is between manager and/or enginner and operator and they have more information and skill than operator. They can study as management in medium or large businesses. They can study as interposer in the private sector (meat, dairy, fruit and vegetable, candy, cereal etc. sector and their quality control department ), as a advisor in the Ministry, and laboratory. Thay may also set up their own businesses.
Access to Further Studies
As a result of external transfer exam students can continue Nutrition and Dietary Supplements, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Agricultural Engineering and also Economics and Faculty of Business Administrationof of Open Education Faculty without exam.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Food Technology Program students are dependent on Associte Degree,Bachelor’s Degree and Examination Regulations. According to this regulation, whether the students pass a course in a mid-term, two-term exam (final / make-up) are to be evaluated in two stages. The passing grade was detected in 40% of midterm exam, the final exam is 60% effective. In order to achieve the course,The grade 60 is valid.
