Objectives of the Course

This course aims to introduce students to the environmental, economic, and social dimensions of sustainability. It seeks to develop awareness and practical skills that support sustainable development goals (SDGs) and encourage responsible decision-making at both individual and societal levels.

Course Content

This course explores the concept of sustainability through its environmental, economic, and social dimensions. Topics include ecological footprint, climate change, natural resource management, sustainable agriculture, circular economy, biodiversity, and social justice. The course also examines the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, behavior change, and sustainable lifestyle practices. Emphasis is placed on developing students’ critical thinking and applied observation skills.
