Objectives of the Course

Modern methods of care under control as soon as possible and complications of injuries before they occur and provide the healing touch.

Course Content

The structure and description of the wounds of the skin, the classification of the wound, the wound healing process, factors affecting wound healing, pressure sores and protective measures, pressure wound therapy, diabetic foot physio pathology, prevention strategies and treatments, vascular leg wound pathophysiology, treatment and care, basic wound care principles, techniques help dressing and wound care products, education to patients and caregivers

Learning Outcomes
1.Derinin anatomik yapısını, fizyolojik özelliklerini, yara oluşum mekanizmalarını, yara çeşitlerini ve yara iyileşme evrelerini açıklayarak yara iyileşmesini etkileyen faktörleri değerlendirir.
2.Plans and implements evidence-based wound care for acute and chronic wounds, pressure ulcers, vascular leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and burns by identifying the individual's care needs.
3.Applies wound care dressing materials, adjunctive treatment methods, and infection control practices in accordance with patient safety principles.
4.By analytically evaluating the complications that may develop during the wound healing process, we plan, implement, and evaluate the results of preventive and therapeutic care interventions.
5.Plans and conducts patient and caregiver education regarding wound care in line with effective communication, ethical principles, and a multidisciplinary team approach.
