Ensure that basic information about home care and home care services is reflected in the application areas
The concept of home care, the state of home care services worldwide and in Türkiye, home and environmental arrangements for the elderly, protection and improvement of elderly health, home care of bedridden elderly, home care for infectious diseases, case management in home care services, psychological problems encountered at home and coping methods.
| 1. | It evaluates the place of home care services within the healthcare system by explaining their fundamental concepts, scope, and objectives, as well as the models of implementation used globally and in Türkiye. |
| 2. | Plans and implements evidence-based home care interventions aimed at protecting and promoting health by assessing the physiological, psychological, social, and environmental needs of the elderly individual. |
| 3. | Identifies the care needs of bedridden individuals and those with infectious diseases, and implements appropriate home care practices that support patient safety, infection control, and quality of life. |
| 4. | Plans the case management process in home care services in line with a multidisciplinary team approach; monitors and evaluates the care process; and develops analytical solutions to problems encountered. |
| 5. | Fulfills professional responsibilities in home care practices in accordance with ethical principles, effective communication, legal obligations, quality management, and lifelong learning principles. |
