Students with disabilities have to know the status of this course, the grip of the disability classification, be aware of the policies and aims of learning disability the right attitudes towards people with disabilities.
In this course, the classification of disability, disability policy and disability will be processed varieties.
| 1. | Evaluates the services provided to individuals with disabilities by explaining the concept of disability, types of disabilities, national policies regarding disability, the rights of individuals with disabilities, and relevant legal regulations. |
| 2. | In cases requiring special care—such as orthopedic, intellectual, visual, and hearing impairments, as well as epilepsy and dementia—it plans appropriate care approaches by assessing the individual's physiological, psychological, and social needs. |
| 3. | To support the independent living of individuals with disabilities, they utilize assistive devices, activities of daily living, and rehabilitation practices tailored to the individual's needs and integrate them into the care process. |
| 4. | Plans and implements protective and preventive care interventions by analytically evaluating fall risks, safety issues, and potential problems encountered during the care process for individuals with disabilities. |
| 5. | Conducts the care process for individuals with disabilities in accordance with ethical principles, effective communication, patient safety, multidisciplinary teamwork, and professional responsibilities. |
