Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to learn the fundamental concepts of management science, understand the historical development of management thought, and gain knowledge about organizational structures, leadership, communication, motivation, and decision-making processes.

Course Content

The concept and scope of management, the evolution of management thought (classical, neoclassical, modern, and postmodern approaches), planning, decision-making, organizational structures, communication, leadership theories, motivation, and process theories of motivation are discussed.
