Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with fundamental theoretical knowledge of research methods and techniques and enable them to apply this knowledge in practice. The course covers the research process, major research methods and their applications, literature searching, data collection, data evaluation, report writing, and the use of basic statistical methods.

Course Content

This course introduces students to next-generation laboratory technologies, digital transformation, artificial intelligence applications, literature research, data collection and evaluation, scientific reporting, and basic statistical calculations.

1.Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: Explain the fundamental concepts of scientific research, research processes, and the stages of the scientific method.
2.Access scientific information sources, conduct literature reviews, and evaluate reliable sources of information.
3.Identify research problems, formulate hypotheses, and select appropriate research methods.
4.Analyze and interpret data and present findings in accordance with scientific reporting principles.
5.Evaluate ethical principles, academic integrity, and the effective use of AI-assisted research tools in scientific studies
