Objectives of the Course

The course aims to teach the fundamental concepts of nanotechnology, the properties of nanomaterials, their production methods, and their applications in laboratory technologies. The goal is for students to gain basic knowledge and awareness regarding the use of nanotechnological applications in analytical laboratories.

Course Content

Introduction to nanoscience and nanotechnology, the concept of the nanoscale, the physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials, nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes, graphene, and quantum dots, methods for producing nanomaterials, characterization techniques, biomedical applications, the use of nanotechnology in laboratory analysis, environmental applications, occupational health and safety, and issues related to ethics and sustainability.
