The purpose of this course is to follow the development of children's literature of the world and in Turkey, to be able to evaluate children's literature products in terms of their children's developmental characteristics and to raise awareness on this subject.
Development of children's literature in the world and in Turkey. Stage of childhood, the importance of quality children's books to meet, and who develop reading habit, the training of individuals in sensitive function of the works of children's literature. Features should be in children's literature (design, content and educational), study the examples. Unskilled children's books with samples and discussion of negative effects on their children's developmental characteristics. Pre-service teachers, the books read and assessed the conformity of the children according to age groups and studies to determine what benefits their children. Appeals to children of various literary genres (epic, tales, poems, short stories, novels, etc.) and verbal, rhymes, riddles, etc.) determine the contribution of children's development.
