Objectives of the Course

To be aware of environmental and natural resources and how to protect them. To develop knowledge and awareness about the role of teacher, educational environment and program in environmental education in early childhood. To emphasize the importance of children's positive attitude towards the environment. Examine and evaluate environmental education programs and practices. Developing the ability to plan and implement environmental support programs for early childhood children. To plan an activity in which families can be included in the environmental education process.

Course Content

Basic concepts related to environmental education; the importance of environmental education; environmental education in pre-school period; planning and implementation of environmental education activities for preschool children and their families.
