Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to develop pre-service early childhood teachers’ competencies in integrating technology with pedagogical and content knowledge within the framework of the TPACK model. Students will learn to use technological tools for pedagogical purposes, relate them to content knowledge, and design digital materials for early childhood classrooms.

Course Content

The TPACK framework and its components, approaches to technology integration in education, ethics and safety related to technology use in early childhood, digital tools and applications suitable for early childhood classrooms, augmented reality (AR) in education, coding, interactive whiteboards, digital storytelling, and the planning and evaluation of technology-supported instructional activities.
