This course covers one of the most important philosophical movement, i.e., phenomenology. The objective of this course is to make students conscious about phenomenological method, the end of which is to get at essences to be grasped by reason and to describe them. Accordingly, the characteristics of phenomenological method, its implications in philosophy and social sciences and some leading philosophers affected by phenomenology will be exposed.
