Objectives of the Course

The objective of the course is to enable students to know how psychology considers and investigates human-being, and, to understand and explain the factors underlying various human behaviors using the concepts and general knowledge of psychology.

1.Knows the difference between psychology as a science and other disciplines as well as its scientific methods and application areas.
2.Comprehends the differences between basic theoretical approaches in the historical development of psychology.
3.Knows the links between human behavior and physiological processes.
4.Recognizes and explains the concepts and processes of consciousness, sensation, perception, motivation, and development.
5.Knows the general issues about the assesment in psychology.
