Objectives of the Course

In psychology, it is aimed to give students psychological explanations about various behaviors and cognitive processes by explaining concepts and explanations about the factors underlying human behaviors.

Course Content

How human and animal psychology is studied using scientific methods is explained under the headings of learning, memory, thinking and language, intelligence, personality, stress, behavioral disorders and psychotherapy.

Learning Outcomes
1.Defines and explains psychology's concepts and processes of learning, thinking, language, and memory.
2.Knows the concepts of intelligence and personality, individual differences and knows how they can be determined in general.
3.Knows the concept of stress and techniques of coping with stress.
4.Knows psychological disorders and the ways of treatment, psychotherapy process and models in general.
5.Knows cultural and gender differences that affect human behavior.
