Objectives of the Course

This course aims to ensure that students learn the basic concepts of agricultural insurance and to develop their capacity to acquire knowledge, practices, and skills that can help in report preparation and agricultural insurance.

Course Content

This course defines legal and agricultural concepts that are important for agricultural insurance, obtaining information about various insurance branches, and calculating and preparing appropriate premium and compensation reports. Students gain the skills to apply and interpret agricultural insurance criteria and agricultural insurance within the framework of objective and scientific foundations in the field of study such as agriculture, where many different components and values are involved.

1.To gain the capacity to analyze agricultural risks utilizing both micro and macro-level data.
2.To gain the capacity to analyze agricultural insurance through the lenses of economics and agricultural sciences.

4.To acquire the competence to design risk-mitigating insurance policies and project solutions for agricultural farm.
5.To understand the professional ethics and legal liabilities involved in loss assessment and adjustment processes.
