Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide to contributing to students of the culture mushroom growing had agricultural production potential. The information about compost preparation, cultural works in mushroom production steps, climatizing, encountered problems and solutions subjects are given to students for accessing to level the leading a mushroom management.

Course Content

The place of culture mushroom in living kingdom, economic importance, nutritional value, mushroom production systems, compost making techniques, and using materials, production steps, climate control, cultural works, diseases and pests control, harvest works and storage.

Examination of the external appearance and structure of fresh mushroom varieties (Button, Oyster, Chestnut, Shiitake) sold on the market.
