Objectives of the Course

The aim of the Design in Engineering course, which is included in the undergraduate curriculum of the Department of Horticulture, is to teach the undergraduate students of our department the concept and elements of engineering design, to design projects in the solution of engineering problems, and to practice, in this context, to introduce the design process, design activities and design development processes in general; in addition, it is to gain the ability, knowledge and skills of each engineer candidate to develop a design on issues related to his profession, to make interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary group work, to present and express himself by preparing oral and poster presentations.

Course Content

Design in Engineering course includes students to prepare a main design that will include engineering standards and realistic conditions, using the knowledge and skills they have acquired in previous courses. With this experience, students are provided to be ready for engineering applications.
